How to Apply

ACCESS APPLICATION PROCESS

Effective January 1, 2012, the Hamilton Family Foundation will accept applications via its online application system. All applications and program evaluation reports will be submitted online. We will no longer process paper copies of these documents.

The Hamilton Family Foundation Board meets quarterly to consider grant requests. Application deadlines are at midnight of the following dates:

November 1 Spring Meeting (generally between late Feb-mid March)
February 1 Summer Meeting (generally between mid-May to early June)
May 1 Fall Meeting (generally in mid-late September)
August 1 Winter Meeting (generally in mid-December)

ALL DEADLINES ARE FIRM. Proposals submitted after their respective deadlines will automatically be considered in the next quarter. All organizations interested in applying should consult our Requirements for Evaluation to ensure they meet the Foundation's guidelines prior to submitting an application.

Tips for online submission:

You will be asked to create an account when you begin the application process by creating an email login and password. Please note that this login will be your organization login and will be used for all future applications and follow-up documents. You will need to notify HFF if your primary contact person changes to create a new login.
The application contains required questions that must be answered in order for the application to be submitted. All required questions are marked with an *.
Please be sure to save your online application draft frequently, especially if you plan to work on it in stages.
